Opioid and Business Lunch & Learn

“Opioids and Business will describe the impact of the opioid epidemic in Gaston County. Tammy and Nazrul Chowdhury will share the story of their son Austin who died from an accidental fentanyl overdose. And, the Gaston Controlled Substances Coalition will describe its Opioid Prevention and Treatment Champions Program, which helps employers deliver stigma-free opioid education and offers policy and program options for helping employees secure opioid treatment and for establishing a pathway to rehire former employees who are in long-term recovery.”
